1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Joanna Kopera RN. Contact in matters of personal data: jk@joannakopera.com, phone +48 793 421 197.
2. What data I process and why
- Contact form and e-mail or phone correspondence: full name, e-mail address, company or organisation (if provided), topic and content of the message. Purpose: replying to your enquiry and, where relevant, preparing an offer for a training, lecture, audit or consultation. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the controller’s legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and where the conversation concerns a contract, steps taken prior to entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Visit statistics: data about how the site is used (e.g. sections visited, approximate location, device type), only after you consent to analytics cookies. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Ad performance measurement: cookie identifiers and information about actions on the site, only after you consent to marketing cookies. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims: to the extent necessary. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address I cannot reply to a message sent via the form.
Please do not send health data through the form. The form is intended for professional and business contact.
3. Cookies and Google Consent Mode
The site uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) in three categories:
- Necessary: make the site work and remember your choice in the cookie banner. They do not require consent.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) loaded via Google Tag Manager. Active only with your consent.
- Marketing: e.g. the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Google Ads tags. Active only with your consent.
The site uses Google Consent Mode v2. Until you give consent, all analytics and advertising consents are set to “denied”, so Google tools do not store analytics or advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
4. Recipients of data
Data may be shared with service providers working for me, only to the extent necessary to provide their services:
- website hosting and form handling providers (Netlify, Inc.),
- e-mail and correspondence tool providers,
- Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta, if you consent to analytics or marketing cookies,
- entities supporting the technical and marketing operation of the site, under data processing agreements.
Testimonial videos are loaded from the joannakopera.com server only after you click the play button.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (e.g. Netlify, Google, Meta) may process data in the United States. In such cases the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long I keep data
- correspondence and form data: for the time needed to handle the enquiry, then for up to 3 years in case of claims,
- data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn,
- cookies: for the period set by each tool, no longer than 13 months; your cookie banner choice is remembered until you change it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy,
- rectify your data,
- erase your data,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
To exercise your rights, write to jk@joannakopera.com.
8. Profiling and changes to this policy
I do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects concerning you. This policy may be updated. The current version is always available on this page.
